Meet the Founder & Teacher

Hi, I’m Dylan, also known as Devi, the founder of Yoga Σπίτι.

Yoga has been part of my life for decades. I took my first yoga class in 1999, and through all the different chapters of my life, I have continued to find my way back to the mat.

My path has never been just about yoga. I’ve always been curious about what makes us who we are, how we move through the world, and how we connect with ourselves and one another. That curiosity has led me through years of study and exploration—from yoga philosophy and Vedic culture to Reiki, nutrition, the Enneagram, Family Constellation work, and other practices rooted in personal growth and healing.

I completed my yoga teacher training at Bhakti Yoga Shala in Los Angeles and later lived and studied in India, immersing myself in yoga, Vedic culture, philosophy, and Bhakti tradition. I am Reiki III trained, a certified nutrition coach with a focus on gut and hormone health, and am currently studying toward an herbalist certification.

My learning has also taken some less traditional paths. I have first responder training and scuba diving safety and rescue experience, and I spent many years in leadership, business development, analysis, and operations. I’ve led dynamic businesses and been responsible for large interantional businesses, experiences that taught me as much about people, communication, and leadership as they did about business.

But perhaps the thread connecting all of it is curiosity. I love learning. I love understanding people. I love exploring the relationship between the body, mind, and the way we move through our lives.

And I believe deeply in community.

I’ve been coming to Malia and the surrounding area since 2007, and my parents made Crete home in 2011. Over the years, this place has become deeply meaningful to me. Yoga Σπίτι is my way of creating something I have long wanted to share: a welcoming space where people can move, breathe, learn, restore, connect, and simply be themselves.
